FAQ

Being this is a peel and stick product, will it stay on in elements such as wind and water?

Yes! The Stikit Flag base has an extremely strong adhesive and is designed to hold up in all conditions.

Can I attach and use this on my inflatable Paddle Board?

Yes! Stikit was designed with inflatables in mind. Attach it to the rear of the Paddleboard on the hard surface just behind the textured area. Details and diagram are included in the instructions.

What is the flag stick made of, and when it is broken down does it remain together or is it three separate pieces?

The Flagstik is made of a nonconducting fiberglass. It is hollow inside with a shock cord running through it which keeps the pieces together when broken down, like that of a tent pole.

Will it float?

No the Flagstik will not float, so always use caution when attaching or detaching while on the water.

Why is the 6' flag stick recommended for my Paddle Board?

Paddleboards are a lower profile watercraft than Kayaks, Canoes, Rafts etc. So 6' is recommended to achieve the same overall height of the flag on the water. Again, this is simply a recommendation and the Flagstik height is completely a personal choice.

Why is the "cure time" so long for an inflatable raft, and can I deflate it during that period?

The adhesive cure time for an inflatable Raft as well as an inflatable Kayak is longer due to the fact that the surface is much more giving and flexible than a hard surface. Think of attaching something to an inner tube as opposed to a hard flat surface. It is also advised to slightly bend the base prior to installing to match the the slight contour, as Rafts don't generally have a true flat  area. And yes, you may deflate the Raft during the cure time, just be conscious of the Base when folding it up for storage.
